Dr. Kari-Anne Innes is the Program Director/Lecturer of the Arts and Entertainment Administration master's program at Valparaiso University. She received her doctorate in Theatre from Bowling Green State University, has eleven years of previous administrative experience as the Assistant Director of the Valparaiso University Center for the Arts, and serves on several community arts committees and arts councils. She teaches arts and entertainment administration, marketing, project planning, and international arts and entertainment. She is a diversity and inclusion facilitator and is in her second year of participation in a faculty learning community dedicated to teaching across cultures. This community will produce a university manual on strategies for teaching international students, and provides workshops and support for professors entering the internationalized campus and classroom. She last presented with Dr. Vodnoy at AAAE's 2014 National Conference on a panel titled "From Principles to Practical Application: Celebrating Verdi & Wagner.
