Ruby Yu, New York University, Adjunct Instuctor
Ruby (Youyou) Yu is an adjunct instructor at New York University’s Steinhardt School, focusing on Performing Arts Administration. Last fall, she taught two courses “Environment of Arts Administration” and “Creative and Cultural Industries” at NYU Shanghai for the graduate students who chose to go local. She is also a Ph.D. candidate and teaching assistant at Peking University, China, majoring in Art Management and Cultural Industry with a focus on new media arts. Ms. Yu has a Master’s in Art Management and cultural industry from Beijing Dance Academy, where she worked three years as a senior teaching fellow and Chinese dance instructor in the School of Graded Examination. Ms. Yu has also published several papers in China’s top academic journals. Last year, she presented an one hour speech “Arts Management Curricula In Chinese Universities” at the 2020 AAAE Online Conference.
