Mag. Phil. Leonie Hodkevitch, born in Sofia, raised in Vienna, graduated in Ethnology, as well as Spanish and French Philology at the University of Vienna. She is an author, cultural producer and lecturer for Cultural Management at numerous European and U.S. universities. Co-founder and director of the University of Vienna Cultural Management Program, the interdisciplinary platform Clearly Culture for culture and education, and the Cystic Fibrosis advocacy organization CF-Clearly Future, Leonie is committed to social justice and people at a crossroad in their lives. Her short stories' collections ‘A Night Ride through the Woods’ and ‘SALTY', and her novel ‘Stadlbauer' were published in German and Bulgarian, nominated for the Canetti Award and pronounced one of the three most important novels of the year by the Austrian press.
