Rima Lee, The University of Melbourne, Executive and Administrative Assistant, Asialink Arts

Rima Lee is working at the University of Melbourne in the role of Executive and Administrative Assistant at Asialink Arts where she is involved with facilitating creative exchange with counterparts in South Korea whilst looking after administrative and management processes. She grew up in Seoul, South Korea and completed her master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Management at the University of Melbourne. She undertook the accelerator program Translating Research at Melbourne (TRaM) at the University of Melbourne in the Melbourne Entrepreneurial Centre with Dr Natalia Grincheva. Rima has worked in Australia, South Korea and Singapore across sectors providing support for projects and developing relationships. In Melbourne, Rima worked with multiple arts organisations and programs including Polyglot Theatre, Abbotsford Convent, Asian Producers’ Platform (APPCAMP) and Melbourne Writers Festival to develop international market and policy framework around intercultural engagement. She is interested in forging global and cross-sectoral partnerships with focus on Australian arts sector’s engagement with the Asia Pacific region.
